Weston is a village situated between the market towns of Stafford and Uttoxeter, just north of the historic City of Lichfield. Gayton is approximately one mile to the east of Weston. Weston has grown tremendously in the last 30 years - formerly a small farming community, it now houses some 1,500 people (including Gayton), many of whom work in the local towns.

Best Kept Village 2010 - 1st February 2010(Posted By David Kirby on 1st February 2010)Weston is once again entering the 2010 BKV competition and on behalf of Weston Parish Council, I would like to ask all Villagers to participate in achieving success. If you feel you can organise a working party from your own road or tackle one of the many areas such as the War Memorial, Pathways, General areas, Village Hall etc this would be of great use. The more people involved, the more work can be done. If anyone is interested please contact Colin Critchlow or Jackie Hodgson. You may have something you would particularly like to do, please let us know. By working together we can bring the BKV back to Weston |
