Planning Applications

The majority of planning applications are decided by Stafford Borough Council although some specialist applications, for example those concerned with waste disposal, are decided by Staffordshire County Council.

The Parish Council is consulted on local proposals and responds with its knowledge of the area and its inhabitants. If you wish to see an application you will need to visit the Borough Council offices. If you wish to comment on an application write to: Stafford Borough Council, Development Dept., Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford. ST16 3AQ. You will normally have about 3 weeks in which to comment.

Remember that planning applications are decided on planning law, government planning guidance and the policies in the County Structure Plan and Stafford Borough Council Local Plan. The applicants, their motives and any profit they may make are not relevant.

You may view brief details and a location plan of the application by following the link to the Borough Council's Planning Public Access Area.
